UAE Bans Ghanaians, 19 Other African Nationals From Entering Dubai

UAE bans Ghanaians from entering Dubai

Reports show that residents of Ghana and 19 other African countries have been denied passage to Dubai, the capital of the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
DW Africa detailed that the limitation, the reason for which was not indicated, began on October 24, 2022.
“The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has reported a visa restriction on ethnicities from 20 African nations looking to visit Dubai.
“Nations impacted incorporate Ghana, Sierra Leone, Sudan, Cameroon, Nigeria, Liberia, Burundi, Republic of Guinea, Gambia, Togo, Majority rule Republic of Congo, Senegal, Benin, Ivory Coast, Congo, Rwanda, Burkina Faso, Guinea Bissau, and Comoros. The boycott produces prompt results,” portions of a Facebook post shared by DW Africa on Monday read.
As an update, this isn’t interesting to have residents of Ghana and other African countries denied visa to Dubai.
On December 28, 2021, Emirates Carriers proclaimed that due to the spread of the Omicron Coronavirus strain, travelers from eight African countries would not be allowed to travel to Dubai until additional notification.
Angola, Guinea, Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, Cote d’Ivoire, and Ethiopia were among the countries addressed.
