University Lecturer Murdered On Campus
Dr. Kamar Abdulkadir, a Lecturer at the University of Maiduguri (UNIMAID) in Nigeria has been murdered in cold blood on campus.
Dr Kamar Abdulkadir was a respected lecturer in the Department of Physical and Health Education. The shocking news of his murder has sent shockwaves through the campus and beyond.
Dr. Abdulkadir’s life was brutally taken in his own office, a place where he should have felt safe. According to initial findings, he was ambushed by unidentified assailants who launched a vicious attack on him using a knife and a hammer. Zagazola Makama, a counter-insurgency expert and security analyst in the Lake Chad region, revealed the gruesome details of the attack in a post on social media. He disclosed that Dr. Abdulkadir’s body was discovered with multiple injuries, indicating the ferocity of the assault. In a desperate attempt to defend himself, Dr. Abdulkadir reportedly suffered severe injuries to his hands as he tried to fend off his attackers.
