University of Ghana Releases 2025/2026 Undergraduate Admission Lists — Here’s How to Check Yours Now University of Ghana statutes LGBTQ+

The University of Ghana, Legon, has officially announced its Congregation dates for February 2025.

According to an email received by Ghana Education News, the university management confirmed that congregation ceremonies for various colleges, including graduate students, will take place from 10th to 15th February 2025 and 17th to 22nd February 2025.

Eligibility for February 2025 Congregation

Only students who completed their academic programs during the 2023/2024 academic year will be eligible to graduate during the scheduled dates.

Colleges Participating in the 2025 Congregation

The congregation ceremonies will include students from the following colleges:

Below is the official statement received by the Ghana Education News team:

“The University community is hereby informed that congregation ceremonies will be held from 10th – 15th February 2025 and 17th – 22nd February 2025 for students of the under-listed Colleges and the School of Graduate Studies, who successfully completed their programs of study during the 2023/2024 academic year:

  • College of Basic and Applied Sciences
  • College of Education
  • College of Health Sciences
  • College of Humanities

Further details of the ceremony will be shared in due course.”

In a related development, the University of Ghana and other tertiary institutions cannot complete their admission processes or release admission letters to 2024 WASSCE candidates until January 2025. This delay is due to the government’s failure to settle its debts to WAEC on time.

With the recent payment of GHS60 million out of the GHS118 million owed to WAEC, the examination council has assured WASSCE students and the general public that results will be released by the end of the year.
