Information coming in indicates Hon. Alan Kyerematen has resigned as the Trades Minister. Sources close to the Minister have confirmed this development to some media houses in the capital as sighted by GhanaEducation.org.

The Minister of Trade and Industry, Alan John Kwadwo Kyerematen has resigned from his position. He tendered his resignation letter to President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo on Thursday, January 5, 2023.

However, the reasons leading to the rather unexpected development are yet to be made known to the public.

Alan Kyerematen resigned from the Akufo-Addo government, after serving in the portfolio since 2017, it is believed that he took the decision to enable him properly focus on his presidential ambition.
