Graduates from various universities in Ghana are currently waiting for the Ghana Education Service to open the 2023 recruitment portal.
The Ghana Education Service recently opened the recruitment portal for graduates with diploma certificates. Following this, a lot of graduates who did Education at the various universities in Ghana believe that the portal will be opened for them to apply. However, things seem to be delaying.
Well, recent information reveals that the Ghana Education Service will soon open the portal for the recruitment of graduates with degree certificates into the service. The delay is due to some streamlining being conducted by the Ghana Education Service.
Some senior high schools in Ghana are overstaffed while others seem to have shortage of teachers. GES want to ensure that there are no overstaffing in schools. As a result, it is making sure that all senior high schools have the required number of teachers at a particular time. Once this is done, GES will know the number of teachers needed by each school in Ghana in order to begin the recruitment process.
Even though, GES has the records already, they still need to conduct this excercise in some schools before recruitment can be done.
Also, the Minister of Finance must also give financial approval to the Ghana Education Service before recruitment can be done. Ghanaeducation.org cannot confirm the exact inwhich the portal would be opened for recruitment. The only answer we can give now is ‘Soon‘.
WHAT SHOULD GRADUATES DO NOW
All graduates should make sure that they have all their certificates intant. The certificates include;
1. License Examination Certificate
If you have not written the licensure examination, this is the chance for you write. Passing all papers of the examination makes you legitimate for the job.
2. Degree Certificate
3. National Service Certificate
4. WASSCE Certificate
5. BECE Certificate
