2021 WASSCE date for school candidates: School candidates preparing for the 2021 WASSCE will start the examination on Monday, August 16, 2021. The nearly two-month-long examination will end on Friday, October 8, 2021, the West African Examinations Council (WAEC) has announced.
The non-governmental organization in a blog post sighted by Ghanaeducation.org indicated that the upcoming 2021 WASSCE for School examination will be conducted in line with strict covid-19 safety protocols.
The international WASSCE timetable released by the council stated, the English Language and Core Mathematics papers are scheduled to be written on Monday, September 13th and 20th respectively.
Integrated Science and Social Studies on Monday which are two other core subjects are to be administered on 4th and 6th October 2021 respectively.

In a related development, the 2020 WASSCE saw Ghana outclassed Nigeria as 411 Ghanaian WASSCE candidates obtained 8As out of the total 465 for the year. The government is on record to have hinted it will support WAEC to institute measures to curb cases of examination malpractices. With the 2021 WASSCE date for school candidates now out, stakeholders expect government and WAEC to start working toward the project.
