WAEC fails to release the 2022 BECE, which has caused more tension and stress nationwide among anxious students, parents, and guardians. Parents who called the Ghana Education News team complained that their wards have become stressed up all day.
Everyone was expecting WAEC to release the 2022 BECE results today, the 25th of January 2023 per its own announcement made on the 19th of January.
Now that the West African Examination Council has failed to meet its own target, it is not clear exactly when the results will be released.
Ahead of the release of the 2022 WASSCE results, WAEC gave a November 30th for the release of the result but failed to honour it only to release the results the next day, 1st December 2022.
If this strategy is what WAEC is using, then they must not delay the result any longer. Releasing the results on 26th January 2023.
Going forward, WAEC will do students and the general public a lot of good by only giving projected dates that it is very sure of, to ensure students and the general public are not put in a state of suspense.
