WASSCE for Private School results update: WAEC to release 2021 Nov/Dec for private candidates results
The West African Examinations Council says results of Nigerian candidates who sat for the 2021 Nov/Dec for private students exams will be out on Monday. The date to release Ghanaian candidates results will be announced later.
A staff of the Examinations Council Sunday told EducationWeb plans are far advanced for WAEC Nigeria to release the second series of 2021 results of WASSCE for Private Candidates on Monday, February 14, 2022.
Asked when WAEC-Ghana will also release the provisional results of candidates who partook in the 2021 edition of the private examination popularly known Nov/Dec, the Council member said his outfit in due course will release it.
The Management of the West African Examinations Council (WAEC) – Ghana last year administered the WASSCE for Private Candidates on Monday, November 1, 2021, and ended it successfully on Wednesday, December 22, 2021.
The Council after the release of the 2021 Nov/Dec results online at https://ghana.waecdirect.org/ will disclose the total number of private candidates who sat for the examination conducted at various centres across the country in 2021.
The entire results of candidates suspected to have been involved in various examination malpractices that have been withheld pending the conclusion of investigations will also be revealed by WAEC after the 2021 results are out.
The November/December (WASSCE for Private Candidates) suspected examination malpractices usually include impersonation, collusion among candidates, bringing foreign materials and mobile phones into the examination hall.
The non-profit-making institution (WAEC) ahead of the release of the Private WASSCE results has cautioned students to be on the alert for fraudsters who contact candidates with the promise of upgrading their results for a fee.
“We wish to assure all stakeholders that the WAEC’s results database is well secured, as such all forged results can be detected by the confirmation/verification system which has been made available to institutions and organisations.
