WASSCE for School Candidates Update: WAEC releases 2022 WASSCE timetable for Ghana -Download Now
The West African Examination Council (WAEC) has released the official 2022 WASSCE timetable for Ghana. Per the newly released 2022 WASSCE for school candidates timetable, the Senior High School leaving examination will commence on Monday 1st August with Project Work for various programmes (Basketry, Ceramics, Graphic Design 3 among others.
The examination will start with Practical papers on 1st August 2022 however the 2022 WASSCE for school candidates will end on Tuesday, 27th September 2022
Core Mathematics will be administered on Thursday, 15th September 2022 whiles English Language (Core) will be written on Thursday, 8th September 2022.
Integrated Science and Social Studies will be written on Monday, 19th September 2022, and Monday, 5th September 2022 respectively.
WAEC has also indicated that students and other stakeholders should take note of the following
1. Difference in Time on Question Paper and Timetable. Where the duration indicated on the question paper differs from that on the timetable, the one on the question paper should be
followed.
2. Question Papers to be given out in advance of the dates they are to be taken
(1) General Knowledge-In-Art Paper 3
The question paper for General Knowledge-In-Art 3 will be given to candidates two weeks before the paper is due to be taken.
(2) Project Work Papers
The question papers for project work for Basketry, Graphic Design, Leatherwork, Ceramics, Sculpture, Picture Making, Textiles, Jewellery, will
be forwarded to candidates two weeks in advance of the examination. The exact date for the delivery of question papers to candidates will be
communicated to them through their schools.

3. Extra Time for Candidates with visual impairment and hearing impairment.
Candidates with visual impairment and hearing impairment should be allowed one and half the time allotted to other candidates
