When Will The 2023 WASSCE Begin, Date Announced?

When will the 2023 WASSCE begin? The date for the 2023 WASSCE is yet to be announced.

The West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) is a senior secondary school test organized by the West African Examinations Council (WAEC) for students in West African countries such as Nigeria, Ghana, Sierra Leone, The Gambia, and Liberia.

The examination is held twice a year, in May/June and November/December, and is intended to evaluate the academic performance of senior secondary school students in their final year of secondary education.

The WASSCE exam includes both objective and essay questions in subjects such as Mathematics, English Language, Sciences, Social Sciences, and Arts. The objective questions are multiple-choice, but the essay questions ask students to write responses to particular questions.

The West African Examinations Council (WAEC) normally determines the exact dates of the examination in cooperation with the Ministries of Education of the participating countries. The examination dates are normally publicized several months before the examination begins.

Students who plan to take the WASSCE must keep up to date with official statements from their country’s Ministry of Education or the West African Examinations Council (WAEC) to avoid missing essential information or changes to the examination schedule.
