You May Be Hit With Insult, Lies And Ridicules- Gabby Otchere Darko Reacts To Kumi Preko Demo

Gabby Otchere Darko has released a write-up and it all points at the demonstration against his cousin, the President Nana Addo.

Gabby writes;

Public service can be sometimes thankless for those who opt for it as a worthy sacrifice to pay back to a society that has offered so much to them. Many, many decent people choose public service, not for the perks, but to serve. We risk bastardising it and putting off many others with much to offer.

My little advice to those who choose to serve is this: please, you must always be guided by the greater cause that drove you to it. It can get very rough sometimes. You will be blamed for many things, rightly or wrongly. Do not be discouraged. You may be hit from several corners with insults, lies, hatred and ridicule. But never allow them to break your spirit. Do not allow the challenges of the office, including the unusual ones, and the weight of responsibility and expectations that are placed on your shoulders push you down and out. Stay strong and true to yourself, your conscience, your calling, your God, and your country.

When all is said & done, I hope we continue to attract to the public sector, good, decent patriots & great achievers from the private sector with the courage to serve us all and advance the cause of humanity and country. To this, I pray.
