13 armed robbers assaulted two police officers at Duayaw Nkwanta in the Tano North District of Bono Region to free two criminals.
According to a police situational report, 15 machete-wielding hoodlums attacked Adrobaa residents and shops, including the chief, wounding some residents.
After hearing about the attacks, Police Corporal Philip Sion and Constable Bernard Amoah arrived. They saw the machete-wielding youths speeding toward Terchire on their way to Adrobaa.
They tried to stop the men, but disobeyed.
