10 WASSCE 2023 Exam Success Tips from WAEC to Candidates

Ghana Education News| The West African Examination Council has outlined 10 tips for passing WASSCE 2023 in a post sighted by Ghanaeducation.org.
Anytime WAEC putts such information out, they are for good intentions and so all candidate must give much attention to the details of this post.
10 WASSCE 2023 Exam Success Tips from WAEC to candidates
The WASSCE Exam Success Tips provided were as follows
1. WAEC advised candidates to get to the examination hall early and at least 45 minutes before the commencement of the paper.
2. Students are advised to read and understand all instructions before they start work.
3. Candidates are to ensure they write their full names and index numbers and in space provided on the question paper and answer booklets.
4. Shading of the objective test is to be done using only 2B pencils.
5. Candidates are advised to carefully read through the examination questions, understand the demands of the question before they select the ones they wish to answer.
6. Students are to watch keywords in the questions to be able to tell the requirements of the question. Words such as When, State, Describe, Calculate, Compare, Contrast, Define, Discuss and Identify are among the words candidates are advised to watch out for.

7. WASSCE 2022 candidates are advised to be mindful of the time they allocate to each question in the examination hall.
8. Another useful strategy shared by WAEC is that it encouraged students to write fast and ensure their handwritings are clear and legible for easy reading. It cautioned students that examiners cannot mark and award points for answers they cannot read.
9. Students are to do independent work in the examination hall and obey all examination instructions.

10. Students are to avoid rogue websites that charge candidates money in exchange for Apor. It furthered that WAEC does not engage in UPGRADE of results.
