2020 school placement: MoE gives new date for release
Stakeholders of the 2020 BECE were expecting the release of school placements yesterday however, the Ministry of Education (MoE) has given a new date for the release of 2020 BECE school placement.
The 2020 school placement release date available to this portal was 3rd February. 2021, however, according to a staff of the MoE, the 2020 (BECE) placements will be released early or mid-February this year. This time, an exact date is yet to be released.
The officer who requested anonymity added that the 2020 school placement has delayed due to the changing of the country’s Minister of Education.

Thus, the new minister of education would have to be vetted and approved before the placement is released. It will be one of the first official assignments.

Currently, the outgoing Education Minister, Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh is acting as the President’s representative at the Ministry of Education (MoE).
The CSSPS is a placement system used to place students in various public and private schools based on the student’s raw score, programme, and accommodation choice among others.
