The Ghana Education Service (GES) has refuted claims it intends to prevent teachers from participating in the 2021 population census.
In a letter sighted by Ghanaeducation.org, the GES further indicated that teachers can go to school and sign, give assignments, and leave after some hours of work to undertake such an important program.
“It is about time teachers become smart and use their time wisely as their salary is nothing to write home about” the statement added.
All shortlisted teachers should be smart enough to act accordingly, as Ghana needs highly knowledgeable officials to embark on such an important public assignment.
