Breaking Education News Update: 2021 SHS Placement Out and Live – Check 2021 School Placement Now
The 2021 SHS Placement is now out and live and all school and private BECE candidates who applied for placement can now check their 2021 School Placement on the CSSPS portal dedicated for the checking.
The released placement will see candidates being placed in Secondary Schools, Technical and Vocational Schools for the 2022 academic year. The candidates have been placed in various schools as either day or boarding students based on their performance in the 2021 BECE examination.
Out of 571892 registered candidates who sat for the 2021 BECE, 555353 qualified to be placed however, only 367,811 candidates were placed automatically.
The 2021/2022 BECE School Placement is to go live on Saturday However, in all, some 187,542 of the qualified candidates will have to use the Automatic School Placement Module to get placed in a school. A total of 16,539 did not meet the requirements for placement into any Secondary, Technical, or Vocational School.
Students and parents are advised to check the status of the placement on a desktop computer or on a laptop connected to the internet, and not on a smartphone. Again, use the best web browsers such as the latest version of Mozilla Firefox or Chrome web browser when checking the school placement.
Now that the Ghana Education Service has released the delayed 2021 School Placement, take steps as a candidate or parent whose ward took part in the examination to check the placement status.

How to check your 2021 BECE SHS placement
Ensure you check the 2021 BECE school placement with an internet-connected computer or at the internet café.
1. Visit the CSSPS websites cssps.gov.gh to check your placement
2. Purchase an E-voucher with Mobile Money by simply dialing the shortcode *920*44#, The vouchers will be delivered instantly via SMS onto your phone
3. Click on check placement on the CSSPS portal
4. Enter your Index number and E-voucher Pin (At this stage enter your BECE Index number and add 21 if you sat for the examination in the year 2021, Eg 100000000021 and your 12 digit voucher pin).
5. Click on submit and wait for a new window to display your placement.
6. Print out the placement and enrolment form
