In week 12 of the 2022/23 Ghana Premier League, King Faisal held Hearts of Oak to a goalless draw on Thursday night at Baba Yara Sports Stadium.
The draw drops the Phobians four points off the top spot, while the In Sha Allah lads are only one point above the drop zone.
King Faisal got off to a fast start, with Baba Yahaya crashing the bar within ten minutes. Hearts of Oak dominated the first quarter, coming within a goal on a free kick.
The hosts requested a penalty, but referee Samadji Joshua dismissed their request. Chances fell to both teams, but none were converted as the first half ended goalless.
