Mathematics 2 (Essay) will start at exactly 9.00 am and end at 10:00 a.m. Mathematics 1 (Objective) will also start at 10:00 a.m. and end on 11:00am.
Candidates will now take a break from 11:00 am to 1:00pm.

Information And Communication Technology paper will then begin at 1:00pm. However, candidates must be seated 30 minutes before that time. Ghanaian Language 2 (Essay) will start 1.00 p.m. and end at 2.15p.m. The Objectives will start at 2.15p.m and end at 3:00 p.m.

The BECE began on Monday, 7th August, 2023. For the first time in history, there were more females than males. Over 600,000 candidates were registered. The Ashanti region had the highest number of registered candidates followed by the Greater Accra region.
