The Ghana Education Trust Fund (GETFund) has started accepting applications from students who want to enroll in postgraduate programs at any of Ghana’s universities in the 2022–2023 academic year.

Who can I apply for the 2023 GETFund Local Postgraduate Scholarship?

All Ghanaian citizens who want to go to school are welcome to apply.

To be considered for a GETFund Scholarship, however, a student must meet certain requirements.

Scholarship Level/Field of Study

GETFund Masters students and PhD students can get a Postgraduate Scholarship. This is to help them go to school with a clear head. This could also happen in any area of study at a Ghanaian university.

And anyone with a bachelor’s degree can apply for the scholarship.

GETFund Scholarships for Ghana Students are hosted by Ghanaian students who are seeking for higher education in Ghanaian universities.

The Ghana Education Trust Fund is in charge of the 2022 GETFund scholarship for Ghana students.

The Ghana government will host the event in 2022.

Everyone from Ghana who has a first degree can apply. So, Ghana is the eligible country. International students can’t apply for the Scholarship.

How much a GETFund Local Postgraduate Scholarship is Worth?

A full or partial scholarship is what the GETFund scholarship for Ghana students in 2022 is worth. Also, only paid tuition is included in this.

For the 2022/23 school year, the Ghana Education Trust Fund is taking applications for local scholarships.

The date for applications to start is Thursday, December 8, 2022, and the date for applications to end is Tuesday, January 31, 2023.

Application Requirements for 2023 GETFund Local Postgraduate Scholarship

All applicants are required to create a user account and complete their application form via the GETFund Scholarship Portal.
Scanned copy of proof of Nationality (Copy of Passport / National I.D Card).
A scanned copy of the admission letter clearly stating the program duration in it.
A Scanned copy of the approved Fee Schedule (2022/23 Academic Year).
Scanned copy of the 1st-degree certificate (Masters and Ph.D. applicants only).
A Scanned copy of another degree certificate (Ph.D. applicants only).
Scanned copy of the previous transcript (Masters and PhD applicants only).
Scanned copy of National Service Certificate where applicable (Masters and Ph.D. applicants only).
Copy of Curriculum Vitae (Master and Ph.D. applicants only)
