Note, the SHS1 students are expected to be in school for 57 days (Including weekends). What this means is that SHS1 students will be in school for 1 month, and 29 days for the first part of Semester one, break, and return later.

What is the SHS 1st Semester Academic Calendar for 2023 Like?
SHS1 1st and 2nd Semester Reopening/Vacation Dates for (Double Track)
Form 1 students will reopen on 20th February 2023 and break on 13th April 2023.
Then return to school on 9th June. They will break again on 10th August 2023 then finally converge again on 18th September until 30th November to end the 2023 Academic year

SHS1 Single Track 1st and Second Semester Vacation and Reopening Dates
Form 1 students in Single Track SHS will reopen on 20th February 2023 and break on 6th April 2023
They will return to school on 17th April to start their second semester and end the academic year on 15th September 2023.
What this means is that the single truck school SHS1 students will vacate a month and a half earlier than their colleagues in Double track Schools.
