2023 WASSCE Results To Be Released By Next Month?

With two months to end 2023, candidates who sat for the WASSCE are yet to know their faith. The release of the WASSCE results has always been a talk after the final paper. The 2023 WASSCE Results Date is yet to be released by WAEC Ghana.

For the past years, the release of the WASSCE results has always been 45 to 50 days after the final WASSCE paper. However, the official website for WAEC Ghana was hacked few days ago. Also, reports that were gathered today, made it clear of a successful retrieval of the website.

When Will The 2023 WASSCE Results Be Released?

The projected date from Ghanaeducation.org for the provisional release of the WASSCE results is, the first week of November 2023. Thus, by 10th November 2023, the WASSCE results should be released.

What Will I Need To Check My WASSCE Results?

With a few weeks to the release of the WASSCE results, candidates and parents should be informed about these requirements needed to check the results;

• Candidate Index Number
• Date of Birth (DOB)
• Year of Examination
• Type of Examination
• A valid WAEC scratch card and serial number

How To Check WASSCE Results

To check your WASSCE results after the release, follow these simple and easy steps;

1. Buy a valid WAEC scratch card as stated above

2. Proceed to the official WAEC results checker website (https://ghana.waecdirect.org/)

3. Fill in all your needed information

4. Ensure that you remember your index number and date of birth used as well

NB: You won’t be required to enter your WAEC centre number.

5. Select your year of examination and the type of examination

6. After filling all the necessary details, click ‘check results’

7. Print out your results as seen

Can I Check My WASSCE Results Via Text Message or SMS?

Yes, you can. As the world is evolving, so as technology. Although you can check your WASSCE results via SMS, but we won’t recommend that option for any individual.

After checking via the text or SMS, you need to log on to the official WAEC results checker website and then print out your results.
