Preparing for the BECE with mocks from different sources helps a lot, hence we are sharing with our readers the latest 2024 BECE Social Studies Mock Questions for the month of April.
BECE Social Studies Mock Questions
The questions used to assess BECE candidates for the 2024 BECE mock questions are mostly past questions of the BECE. These past questions are also topics that were in the old curriculum but were maintained in the new curriculum due to their relevance.
Again, the questions were structured on a topical basis, meaning that each set of questions lettered A-B was all taken from the same topic, which is usually not the case at the BECE level.
The 2024 April BECE mock covered not more than seven topics from the curriculum.
The direct nature of the questions would be better for re-sit candidates; however, whether the questions are direct or practical, candidates who will be assessed with the new curriculum should be able to answer all the questions because the answers will be the same if the questions were practical in nature.
Finally, the questions followed the direct question approach, which may not require too much thinking or practical application in solving them.
We advise candidates to carefully read the questions before attempting them. Do not write any answer that is less than ten words. Ensure that you explain your points. The answers must not be too short or too long. Support with examples where ever possible.
