Graduates who applied for the 2024 Ghana Civil Service (GSS) Recruitment are to note that the GSS conducts an online entrance exam for shortlisted applicants.
The first entrance examination is conducted before the end of June while the second exam is often administered in August, between August 15 and 30. Applicants who applied are to take note and prepare for it.
Those who qualify to take the second phase examination are only those who obtained at least 50% in the first online exam.
The Office of the Head of the Civil Service (OHCS) notifies all candidates who were successful (had 50% and above) in the first phase of the online graduate entrance examination for the years.
The exam is administered between 10 am and 12 noon, and the applicant must be online at the time indicated for his or her exam. Poor internet connectivity always affects results; hence, ensure that you have good internet and a fully charged laptop. Do not take the test with a phone or a desktop. Where you intend to use a desktop, ensure that you have a standby automatic change over the power plant since the examination is timed.
You will be timed out once the allotted time is exhausted by the (OHCS). Graduate applicants who were successful will receive an SMS notification bearing further details on the examination.
