Eligibility requirements for the Ariadne Nicolaeff Scholarship at UEA

To qualify for the Ariadne Nicolaeff Scholarship, you must:

• Be a domestic or international student.
• Be a self-funded student.
• Demonstrate financial need.
• Hold an offer of study for the authorized MA programme to be evaluated.
• Meet the entrance (and English language) criteria of the University of East Anglia.
• Not receive any other donor-funded scholarships.

The Ariadne Nicolaeff Scholarship will help a talented student who has been admitted into the MA Literary Translation programme. The award is open to students paying both domestic and international fees.

As part of their final dissertation/project, the scholar would be obliged to translate a Russian dramatic literary composition that has yet to be published in English.
