2024 MIC Postgraduate Scholarship
International students who meet the requirements can apply for the MIC Postgraduate Scholarship at Mary Immaculate College in Ireland.
All successful applicants will receive a full waiver of fees and an annual stipend of €12,600 from the MIC Scholarship. Additionally, the awards are renewable every year for a maximum of three years.

Eligibility
In order to be eligible for the MIC Postgraduate Scholarship, you need to fulfill the following requirements:
- Candidates for master’s degrees must have completed a relevant bachelor’s degree with at least a 2:1.
- Candidates for the PhD program must be Masters graduates in geography or a related field. Applicants with a first-class honors bachelor’s degree may be taken into consideration in special cases.
- Candidates must submit an application to one of the Department of Geography’s open programs.
- Additionally, you must fulfill Mary Immaculate College’s entrance level and English proficiency requirements.
Mary Immaculate College provides qualified students from both European and non-European backgrounds with a number of postgraduate scholarship awards that cover both the full cost of tuition and stipends. The awards consist of:

Benefits
- The scholarship includes full tuition waiver (up to €6,425) and an annual stipend of €18,000, €12,600, €11,900, or €6,900.
- Starting in September 2024 or January 2025, the PhD program has a maximum duration of four years, and the Masters program has a maximum duration of two years.
