4 dead, others injured in gory school bus accident at Nkawkaw
There has been a tragic accident in Nkawkaw causing the lives of four after the school bus collided with another vehicle while navigating a curve onto the main road.
A tragic incident unfolded on the Nkawkaw highway in the Eastern region as a school bus from the Ampea Memorial Institute met with a fatal accident. Reports indicate that the bus, carrying pupils to their respective destinations, collided with another vehicle while navigating a curve onto the main road.
The school bus, identified by its registration number GE 2291-10, collided with a private V8 vehicle registered as GT 8455-19, belonging to a Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) in the Asante region. The impact of the collision was severe, causing both vehicles to plunge into a nearby ditch, resulting in the loss of four lives.

Tragically, three pupils and a female teacher succumbed to their injuries at the scene, while passengers in both vehicles sustained varying degrees of injuries. The injured individuals were promptly transported to the Holy Family Hospital in Nkawkaw, while the bodies of the deceased were taken to the hospital morgue.
