In an interview with the media in Kumasi, the Deputy Director-General of TVET service, Mr. David Prah disclosed that the 2022 school academic calendar would be made public hopefully next week.
The entire nation awaits the release of the 2022 Pre tertiary schools academic calendar. The Ministry of Education disclosed a week ago that, it had constituted a committee charged with the sole responsibility of drawing a stable academic calendar for pre-tertiary schools.
The committee set up by the Ministry of Education to draw a stable calendar for pre-tertiary schools says the much-awaited 2022 school academic calendar will be out next week.
It added that TVETschools were advised to hold on with reopening since the new calendar would capture their school year to ensure uniformity.
“Technical Vocational and Education Training (TVET) schools have been told to hold on reopening school because the Ministry of Education says a uniform pre-tertiary schools calendar will soon be released,” he told the radio station.
Prior to this, the GES made a bold statement that the pre-tertiary calendar when released would go beyond 2020. “The calendar that we are drawing also looks beyond 2022 to 2023 and 2024″ The managers of Education disclosed earlier in the month.
