Well, there are many basic things you can do to help you overcome fear or avoid fear entirely. Let us look at the things that cause fear in the first place.

a. Poor preparation for the examination or late preparation can be dangerous.

b. Failing to read the examination rules and or not understanding the requirements. If you later find out that, you got the wrong understanding of the question, it can be very scary.

e. If you want to know how to overcome fear in the exam hall, do so by attempting the questions you can answer very well first. This will boost your confidence and help you think about others while you write. It can be dangerous if you start with a question you are not so good with. Do not try this, it can lead to fear and serious examination problems.

f. If fear comes visiting in the exam, or you get stressed up, you can relax or take deep breaths and release them. Think of some previous success you achieved in something or another examination and how happy you were. Tell yourself some positive things. Positive affirmations help a lot in the exam.

g. If you are scared for any reason. Stay calm, press your toes down in your show and release them slowly, do the same with your fingers, stay positive, or put your head on the table for a while and take deep breaths and release them.
