PRESENTATION OF SCHOOL UNIFORMS TO BASIC SCHOOLS IN THE SEKYERE EAST DISTRICT
The Office of the Member of Parliament for Effiduase/Asokore Constituency and the Sekyere East District Assembly in their efforts to promote education have distributed school uniforms to basic school pupils in the Sekyere East District. A total number of 1,200 uniforms were distributed to both male and female pupils in the following schools; Attakrom D/A, Okaikrom D/A, Odurokrom D/A, Seniagya D/A, Awaham Brofoyedru D/A, Asukawkaw D/A, Ahwerewa D/A, Feyiase D/A, Daakoho D/A, Motokrodua D/A, Ntunkumso D/A, Effiduase Demonstration and Asokore Trinity D/A. A cheque was also presented to the T. I. Ahmadiyya Girls SHS, Asokore, for the procurement of musical instruments for the school’s cadet.
Mr. William Brako Agyapong, Education Director for Sekyere East District in his remarks averred that he recognizes the efforts of Hon. Dr. Nana Ayew Afriye, MP-Effiduase Asokore Constituency, Hon. Osei Adiyiah, District Chief Executive-Sekyere East District and government in addressing the numerous challenges faced by schools in the District. He indicated that he was excited about the presentation as it addressed a dire bottleneck that prevented numerous pupils from attending school.

Hon. Osei Adiyiah, DCE, applauded the District Education Service for the excellent job done so far and implored that they sustain the momentum and not waver in their service to the nation. He opined that his office and that of the Member of Parliament for Effiduase Asokore Constituency are committed to improving the delivery of education in the district and will not relent in their efforts to make their vision materialize. He expressed utmost gratitude to the Akufo Addo/Bawumia government for the massive improvements in the education sector.
