Chief Examiner Gives Candidates Secret “APOR”; Check It Out

Instead of relying on apor, students must take notice of this statement the Chief Examiner made. There are shreds of evidence of students who failed their exams just because they relied on “apor” all over. It is now up to current candidates to avoid this recurring trend every year. The Chief Examiner in one of his reports indirectly gave students an apor. This gist from the Chief Examiner will forever be a source of guidance for students.

Can you believe that after identifying the challenges the 2019 batch had in their Maths paper, the Chief Examiner gave this fantabulous apor? The Chief Examiner noted that the 2019 batch found difficulty in simplifying equations to the form, labeling Venn diagrams, finding an angle in a triangle, finding the equation of a line, and finding the median from a frequency table.

THIS IS THE APOR FROM THE CHIEF EXAMINER

The Chief Examiner revealed that one of the requirements of every Maths question is a keen analysis. He revealed that one of the easiest methods that can help one pass a Maths exam is careful reading, careful understanding, and careful analysis.

“Teachers should encourage candidates to read, understand and analyze questions before solving them”, this was what he said in 2017.

He repeated the same thing in 2019, “Candidates should be encouraged to analyze questions well before attempting to answer them.”

Students must ask themselves; How do I approach this question? Which topic is this question from? Do I need to draw diagrams for it? How do I draw the diagram? How do I represent the word problem above mathematically?
