#NanaMustGo: Massive Demonstration to Hits The Presidency – Details Drop

The report says that things won’t go well for the government in the next few days as the #NanaMustGo demo starts.

Oliver Mawuse Barker Vormawor, the leader of the #FixTheCountry movement, hinted at a protest to get President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo out of office. He has been accused of destroying Ghana’s democracy.

In a social media post, Mr. Barker-Vormawor, who is being charged with treason for allegedly calling for a coup d’état to get rid of President Akufo-Addo, tried to get people to join a protest to get the President out of office before the end of his term.

Mr. Vormawor has said that the President is trying to destroy Ghana’s democracy and has asked that he be stopped.

“Nana Addo Danquah is destroying democracy in Ghana, oo.

Before it’s too late, he needs to be stopped. Yoo!” He had asked for it.

Ghana’s economy is in a crisis because of high levels of debt that can’t be paid back, high inflation, and a free fall in the value of the Cedi against major trading currencies like the dollar.

Several groups of public sector workers have gone on strike to show how unhappy they are with their jobs. Businesses have complained about how the falling value of the Cedi hurts them, and the Ghana Union of Traders Association has gone on strike to get the government to act right away.
