People from Ghana and 19 other African countries are not allowed to go to Dubai, the capital city of the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
DW Africa said that the ban was supposed to start on Monday, October 24, 2022, even though no reason was given.
“The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has told people from 20 African countries that they can’t get visas to visit Dubai.
Ghana, Sierra Leone, Sudan, Cameroon, Nigeria, Liberia, Burundi, Republic of Guinea, Gambia, Togo, Democratic Republic of Congo, Senegal, Benin, Ivory Coast, Congo, Rwanda, Burkina Faso, Guinea Bissau, and Comoros are all affected. The ban starts right away,” said part of a Facebook post that DW Africa shared on Monday.
This is not the first time that people from Ghana and other African countries have been told they can’t go to Dubai.
