Public school teacher drowns 3 biological children in well

A teacher is reported to have drowned 3 of his biological children in a well in their home. The sad incident took place at dawn around 1 am according to our sources.

The unfortunate incident occurred place in the Volta region, per the report. Kwaku Dordor, the 43-year-old public school teacher has been arrested by the police after he killed his two sons aged 10 and 7, and his 4-year-old daughter.

At the time of the incident, the spouse of Kwaku Dordor was reported to have travelled to her mother to deliver their 4th born.

According to reports, Kwaku Dordor drowned his three children one after the other while the children were still asleep.

It is reported that he carried them one after the other and dumped them in the well to die.

Each time he succeeded in killing one, he came for the other until he drowned all three children.

He attempted suicide by hanging himself in the well. He attempted to commit suicide, but his attempt failed to yield results. He could not accomplish his task after dangling for nearly two hours on the rope until a woman who had come to gather water earlier in the day and discovered him. She raised an alarm and was rescued and detained by the police.

The remains of the children were removed and sent to the health facility, where they were declared dead.

Since then, the remains have been placed in the morgue for an autopsy. During police interrogations, Kwaku Dordor revealed that his act was influenced by the devil, but the information available shows that the family of the suspect has tried to hide his mental illness from the public.
