Higher levels of education have been associated with better mental health and better ways to manage stress, but this may not be the case with educators in Ghana, given that preventing and managing long-term stress demands professional skills and training to manage them from the individual level.
Psychological stress is believed to contribute to the onset and maintenance of a variety of mental and physical conditions.
