What is a BECE result PIN?
The PIN stands for Personal Identification Number.
It is a unique 12-digit number that is required to access the service.
The service enables access to a candidate’s results and also allows requests for result confirmation and verification.
The PIN is found on a valid scratch card.
What is a BECE Result Scratch Card or Checker?
A scratch card is a slip that holds the PIN required to access the service.

Where can I buy a scratch card?
A Scratch card may be purchased at the regional offices of WAEC and at any other outlets.
GhanaEducation.Org also sells genuine BECE result checker cards.
How many times can I check my BECE results with the same checker card?
You may check your results up to a maximum of 3 (three) times, 1 unit for each use, with 1 (one) scratch card.
In order to check further after exhausting the 3 (three) units, you will need to purchase another scratch card which will entitle you to another 3 (three) units.
Can I use one BECE result-checking scratch card to check more than one result?
No! You may only use one scratch card with only one result.
To either check, confirm or verify another result of interest, you will require a new scratch card.
If you misuse a scratch card by attempting to use it against another result different from the first, you will be penalized as having used the card and will be presented with the appropriate error message.
What results can I check on the eReult portal?
Candidates can check the BECE (School) and BECE (Private) results on the portal.
How do I check My 2022 BECE results?
Both private candidates and school candidates who sat for the 2022 BECE from private and public schools can check their results on this portal.
#1. Go to the result-checking site https://eresults.waecgh.org/
#2. Enter your Index Number.
#3. Select the Type of Examination (e.g. BECE)
#4. Select your Examination Year eg. 2022
#5. Enter your date of birth (It is possible to check the result without entering this)
#6. Enter the Card Serial Number found on the card.
#7. Enter the 12-digit Personal Identification Number (PIN) on your card eg. 012345678912.
#8. Click on the Re-Capture to confirm you are not a robot.
#8. Click on Submit and wait for the display in the popup window. This may take several minutes.
#9. Print or Save the result in PDF format.
