2022 Teacher Licensure Exams Results To Be Released On Friday

The National Teaching Council (NTC) has commenced the tertiary graduates indexing phase for the 2023 GTLE registration. NTC Emergency License for Non-Professional Teachers

The National Teaching Council (NTC) is set to release the results of December 2022 Ghana Teacher Licensure Examination (GTLE) on Friday, February 03, 2023.

In a statement released on Thursday, management revealed that the results are ready and will be released on Friday(tomorrow).

HOW TO CHECK YOUR RESULTS

All candidates can check their results from the NTC online portal at https://exams.ntc.gov.gh by using either their pins given during registration or their examination index numbers using their phone numbers.

Candidates are advised to print their provisional certificates after checking results.

The results of the maiden edition of the Ghana Teacher Licensure Examination has been posted on the NTC online portal for candidates to access.

1. Login in with your Personal Identification Number (PIN) and the Serial Number used during the registration for the examination.

2. Thereafter, click on the Submit Button to access your NTC exam results.

3. Candidates are advised to print their provisional certificates after checking results.

Also, Candidates can also obtain their results at the colleges of education where they sat for the examination. Those who failed the examination would be required to join the next batch to write the examination this year. Candidates will resit only course(s) that they failed.

ABOUT NTC EXAMS

The National Teaching Council is mandated by the Education Act 2008 (Act 778), Section 9 to improve professional standing and status of teachers and to license and register teachers in Ghana. The purpose of the Licensing Examination is to enable qualified teachers acquire a professional license; and also attract excellent young graduates from the universities and Colleges of Education who have the required professional knowledge, skills and attitudes necessary to deliver effectively in schools.

Eligibility

All Prospective candidates who hold the Diploma in Basic Education (DBE), Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) or a Post Graduate Diploma in Education (PGDE), M.Ed and are desirous of seeking employment as teachers.
All the above-mentioned candidates who completed in 2021 or before 2022 qualify to write the examination at a Regional Centre of their choice
Candidates who have written the Ghana Teacher Licensure Examination and are not successful, as well as fresh candidates, can register.

Fees for registration as of 2022

1. Fresh candidates are required to pay GHȻ 350.00 to register for the examination

2. Candidates who are re-sitting are to pay GHȻ150.00 for one (1) Re-sit paper
Candidates who are re-sitting two (2) papers are to pay GHȻ210.00

3. Candidates who are re-sitting all the three (3) papers are to pay GHȻ 350.00
