It was a night of excitement and bliss at the 2022 National Industrious Awards, where Wisdom Hammond of GhanaEducation.org was crowned the 2022 Blogger of the year. At the event held at the National Theatre, over 40 personalities and brands picked various awards.
The award scheme, which is the brainchild of the Noel Initiative seeks to recognize and reward personalities as well as to inspire diligence in business, media, and the creative industry in Ghana.
In the Blogger of the Year category, Wisdom Hammond of Ghanaeducation.org (Ghana Education News) beat 10 others to win the enviable award on the night.
The event was graced by well-renowned media and entertainment personalities, including Akumaa Mama Zimbi, Okyeame Kwame, Adjetey Anang, Bill Asamoah, Clemento Suarez, Sherifa Ganu, and Oheneyere Gifty Anti.
Mr. Hammond upon receiving the award dedicated it to the hard-working young men and women who churn out news items and articles on GhanaEducation.org.
He disclosed in an interview after the event that the award is an indication that the Ghanaeducation.org brand is making a positive impact across the nation and beyond. He further dedicated the award to the over 600,000 monthly readers who seek up-to-date news on education, among others, on Ghana Education News.
The GhanaEdcuation.org blog has been an education-focused blog that does not limit its scope of content to only news and articles relating to formal education but makes diverse news and articles available to the reading public. The philosophy of the brand is that anything worth news, information, and entrainment is an educational piece that must be made known to the public. Be they in sports, education, business, finance, or politics.

The Blogger of the year award is the second award for the Ghanaeducation.org brand. In November 2022, Ghanaeducation.org was crowned the 2022 Media House of the Year at the Africa Early Childhood Education Awards in Accra.
