Job Description:
We are looking for 20 talented and experienced online news writers to join our team.
As an online news writer, you will be responsible for researching, writing, and editing news articles for our website.
You will also be responsible for promoting our content on social media and other channels.
Responsibilities and requirements
Research and write news articles on a variety of topics
Edit and proofread news articles
Promote news articles on social media and other channels
Stay up-to-date on current events
The writers must be passionate about writing credible, well researched, and variable news contents.
Applicants must have good Internet and a working computer.
Must be able to publish news in real time.
Must have SEO background or be ready to learn or self teach SEO via YouTube.
Must meet basic writing threshold per month and target more publications for bonus earnings.
Qualifications
WASSCE, Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in any field or journalism or a related field.
Experience as a news writer is an added advantage.
Strong writing and editing skills
Excellent research skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong social media skills
