Never Pay Motivation Fees To Any School – Yaw Osei Adutwum Tells Parents

Yaw Osei Adutwum has clearly stated that no parent should pay motivation fees to any senior high school nationwide. Speaking on DwasNem show on Adom FM, the minister made it clear that the government of Ghana pays an annual motivation(intervention) fees to all Senior high schools in Ghana.

This means schools who take this motivation fees from parents still get paid from government. It is therefore the plan of the ministry to announce any payment made to teachers public so that parents will know what is going on.

“We will announce any payment we make to the education sector so that parents will know what is to be paid and what must not be paid. We paid teacher motivation to schools. However some schools have taken motivation fees from students. Those schools still collected the motivation amount from government. We want parents to know that what government promised to do, he is already doing it. Neve pay motivation to schools.
