UG, KNUST, UCC and others to start final phase of admission release process Dec. 27th

Top public universities in Ghana, including UG, KNUST, UCC, and others, will start the final phase of the 2023–2024 admission process towards the release of admissions on December 27, 2023.

The final admission process will usher the various universities that ended admissions on 22nd December such as UG, KNUST, and UCC into the release of admissions.

What to expect from these universities.

  1. Announcement of the release of admissions for undergraduate and postgraduate applicants.
  2. Announcement of fees (tuition, residential fees, SRC, and other related charges).
  3. Sending SMS alerts to congratulate applicants and direct them as to what to do to start and complete their admission process.
  4. Release of the full academic calendar and orientation dates and processes.
  5. Announcement of closing dates for the payment of fees.
  6. Announcement of dates and procedures for securing and registering for accommodation on campus.
  7. Step-by-step guide for paying fees through banks and Momo, among others.

All applicants who applied to universities that ended applications on December 22 are to be on the lookout for admission updates from the respective universities. These universities require that freshers start processing their admissions from 3rd January 2024. Thus admissions must be released on or before 30th December 2023.

Keep an eye on their websites as well as on Ghanaeducation.org. Ghanaeducation.org will keep students and applicants updated with new information that is reliable and credible from the various universities as and when it is released.

Universities that have their admission portals still open – Apply here

In a related development, students who have yet to apply for admission may consider the technical universities and other mainstream public universities, such as UPSA, which still have their admission portal open for new applicants.
