It is official, as five (5) Ghanaians, including a baby, will be attempting to break 5 more Guinness World Records in the coming days.

Ghanaians have been awakened to break Guinness World Records in the year 2024 as five more individuals get ready to break and set new world records. Their official attempts will usher Ghana into a frenzy and put Ghana on the world map.

It looks like Ghanaians are ready to break all the records possible and claim bragging rights for the year 2024.

While #CookathonByFaila #FAILACOOKATHON is ongoing and Afua Asantewaa has completed the sing-a-thon, the following attempts are starting on the days indicated.

Kweku Maxwell: To Attempt Sleep-A-Thon

Kweku Maxwell seeks to break and set a new world record for sleeping with a Sleep-A-Thon. He will be sleeping for 15 days nonstop if he is to break the existing world record. The Sleep-A-Thon official world record attempt starts on January 5 and ends on January 20th. Unconfirmed reports indicate that he has been described as a sleeping beauty due to his ability to sleep endlessly all day. The venue and further details are yet to be made public.

Celebrity Graphix: To Attempt Movie-a-thon

On January 3rd, a Nigerian student broke a Guinness World Record after painting for 100 hours non-stop. However, Ghana’s second GWR to watch out for in 2024 is a Movie-a-thon attempt by Ghana’s own celebrity Graphix, as he watches movies for a whopping 10 days. His official world record attempt is from January 15th to January 25th, 2024. The venue and further details will be provided soon.

Adu Safowaa: To Attempt Speech-a-Thon

Talk of movies, and you have Celebrity Graphix from Ghana, but another to watch out for from Ghana is the 2024 Speech-a-Thon, an official record attempt to be staged by no other person than Adu Safowaa. She seeks to break the current record by giving speeches from February 9th to February 14th, 2024. That will be a cruel five days of constant talking or giving speeches. She seeks to break the current record for the longest speech marathon. An Indian who spoke nonstop for more than 100 hours currently holds the record for the longest marathon speech.

What military officers are good at doing due to their endurance training is the ability to walk, run, and stand for long hours, yet even at parades, some officers fall “yakata for the ground.” always. No military officer has attempted to break a world record by standing for five days. However, Ghana’s Patrick Amenuvor is ready to show the world his talent for standing for 100 hours nonstop. His Stand-a-thon is scheduled for Sunday, January 14, to January 21, 2024. His one-week-long official Guinness world record attempt will be another great one to watch.

Ace-Liam: Attempt to break Youngest Male Artist Guinness World Record

Also, keep an eye on a 1-year-old Ghanaian who will attempt to break the youngest artist or painting expert award. He intends to break the record set by a three-year-old girl in 2024.  Ghana’s 1-year-old art prodigy aims to break a Guinness World Record. He learned to paint from his mum who is an artist herself and many of the paintings of the little Ace-Liam have been sold online already.
