This comes few days after the death of a student at Aburi Girls SHS. It said the organisation was deeply saddened by the tragic passing of the student, which reportedly happened on Monday, February 5, 2024, following complaints of severe stomach pains

Moses Baffoe, a resident of Tamale, witnessed the sick student vomiting at the school’s entrance while on his way home. Despite making two unsuccessful attempts to alert the senior housemaster to the situation, no immediate action was taken.

It was only upon Baffoe’s third attempt that the housemaster finally arrived at the school entrance. However, by then, the student had already been taken to the Tamale Teaching Hospital for medical attention.
