His school organized 8 internal and external mocks for their BECE candidates and out of the eight mocks, this student in question got aggregate 6 in 5 of the mocks and got aggregate 7 in the remaining 3 mocks. You might think that the questions in the mock were easy. That was however, not the case. The mock they wrote were above the BECE standard. The boy was so intelligent that each time a marked script was distributed to his class, you will realize that he gets the highest mark and the second highest mark earner will get a mark, at least 30 marks less than his.

Let me give you the shock of your life. When he was in form 3, he was done with the syllabus and he had started learning some Senior High School topics and his aim was to represent his dream school in the popular NSMQ.

Because of his performance, the least the teachers expected from him was that he would score 1 in all nine subjects. The main target was for him to win the overall best performing BECE candidates in the country.
