Tragedy Strikes: Abirem Washing Bay Attendant Loses Life To Truck While Cleaning

A tragic incident took place at Abirem Newtown in the Ashanti Region, where a washing bay attendant lost his life while cleaning a truck.

According to reports, the victim, known as Nuhu, was trapped under the truck’s head during the cleaning process and unfortunately passed away upon arrival at the hospital.

Nuhu was working on the engine compartment of the truck at the Alhaji Washing Bay in Abirem New Town when the unexpected incident took place.

The truck’s head unexpectedly descended, trapping Nuhu underneath, resulting in him suffering severe injuries.

It took immense effort from Nuhu’s colleagues, onlookers, and a team from a towing company to free him from the vehicle.

A group of police officers arrived at the scene and rushed Nuhu to the hospital.

Unfortunately, Nuhu could not survive his injuries and passed away.

In response to the tragic incident, the Kenyasi District Police Command has invited the driver of the truck and the owner of the washing bay to assist in the ongoing investigation.

Nuhu’s family and loved ones were devastated by this terrible news.

He leaves behind a pregnant wife, whom he had recently married.

The couple had just begun their journey together, and Nuhu was excited about the new phase in his life.
