Accra STEM Academy sod-cutting slated for Jan. 12 is the latest Ghana Education News Update. The academy is part of efforts by the government to help realize Ghana’s STEM Education ambitions and strategic change in the education sector.
The Minister of Education has announced the Sod cutting ceremony for the Accra STEM Academy on Wednesday 12th January 2022.
In a social media post sighted by Ghanaeducagtion.org, the Minister said the STEM Academy and schools to be constructed will represent Ghana’s 21st-century schools.
The Akufo Addo-led government has been championing STEM education in the last 12 months and has rolled out an ambitious strategy to establish STEM Senior High Schools across the country.
According to the Education Minister, Dr. Adutwum, The Ministry of Education is repositioning education anchored on Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM).
The sod cutting for Accra STEM Academy on Wednesday, 12th January 2022 will be done by H.E Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo, President of the Republic.
Managers of Pre-tertiary education at the GES and the Ministry of Education, International donors and partners, CSOs, and other stakeholders of education are expected t grace the occasion.
