Acoustic Consultant

We are seeking a knowledgeable and experienced Acoustic Consultant to join our team for a commercial construction project in Accra, Ghana.

The Acoustic Consultant will be responsible for assessing and advising on all aspects of sound control and acoustics, from the early design stages through completion. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of sound control technologies, acoustic materials, and industry best practices.

Responsibilities

• Conduct acoustic assessments including environmental impact assessments, architectural acoustics, and noise surveys.
• Recommend sound control measures and acoustic solutions for construction projects.
• Prepare technical reports and present findings to clients and colleagues.
• Monitor and manage noise control during construction.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other construction professionals.

• Proven experience as an Acoustic Consultant or in a similar role.
• Extensive knowledge of acoustics and sound control principles.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Valid Ghanaian or international driver’s license.
• Flexibility to travel as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

• Relevant certification as an Acoustic Consultant or similar role.
• Experience working in Ghana or a similar environment.
• Proficiency in both English and local language.

This role is a fixed contract and you will be paid per day of contract.

The daily pay rate depends on the work carried out and can range from 50Ghs – 80 Ghs per day.
