Nearly every Ghanaian loves to watch Actor Fred Amugi in his best in movies but no one ever thought a birthday wish by him would d leave Ghanaians in tears across the nation. He did not ask for millions of cedis not a mansion nor a brand-new car but a simple favour for his name and memory
The Veteran actor Fred Amugi through his request filled the eyes of Ghanaians with tears after he shared his sole wish for his 74th birthday.
The actor made a humble appeal to Ghanaian businesses as well as other international corporations operating in Ghana to consider him for brand ambassadorial deals.
He added that this request is not to make money but instead to remind him of his immense contribution to the creative arts industry.
This request has left many shocked as they did not hear the kind of wishes they want to hear.
He demonstrated simplicity in his request and already businesses and individuals have started thinking of granting his humble wish.
Meanwhile, some industry players have given him their word to make sure his wish will be fulfilled in the shortest possible time.
For him, seeing his face on a huge billboard mounted on vantage points of the country would be a major achievement and a reminder of his immense contribution to the creative arts industry.
In a video was posted to mark his birthday six days ago, Mr. Amugi was emotional while making the request and hoped this wish would be granted before his demise.
“Use me when I’m alive, not when I am dead and gone,” he said amid assurance of being an effective ambassador for any product or service.
The intent, he hinted is not for the money, but to keep his image in the minds of Ghanaians beside the many films he has featured in which has made him a household name.
