Adu Boahen denies corruption allegations levelled against him by TigerEyePi
The TigerEye Private team has made accusations against Charles Adu Boahen, who is the Deputy Finance Minister. Boahen has denied the accusations.
After a documentary called “Galamsey Economy,” which hasn’t been shown yet, said that Mr. Adu Boahen used the Vice President’s name to get money from investors, President Akufo-Addo fired the deputy Finance minister on Monday morning.
A few hours after being fired, the former minister went on his Facebook page to deny the accusations. He also said that he was resigning because he didn’t want to be a distraction to the government.
“I haven’t done what I’m being accused of,” he said.
“Because of this, I have given the President of the Republic my resignation. I will still wait for a full investigation, which I hope will show that I didn’t do this,” the post said.
