Akufo-Addo booed again: The 3rd time Ghanaians have done this (Video)
President Akufo-Addo booed again and this is the 3rd time Ghanaians have done this to the president. It is a complete indication that Ghanaians are struggling with life under the leadership of the Akufo Addo Administration.
The frustration is getting out of hand and so a cross-section of Ghanaians for the 3rd time vented their frustration on the government, accusing the authorities of being incompetent, as a result of the country’s crippling economic situation.
In the attached video sighted by GhanaEducation, the president’s convoy was booed when it got to Akyem Akroso, in the Eastern Region
The president received boos due to the appalling condition of the area’s roads, according to a Twitter user going by the name @PrinceHenry_PHK.
The Ghana Cedis is virtually dead, with a dollar now worth GHS15.00. The continuous upward rise in prices of goods and services coupled with the Skyrocketing fuel prices, bad roads, high cost of living caused by bad leadership, poor economic management and wasteful spending have driven Ghanaians to resort to booing the president at any given chance.
When the president was first booed, it happened at the Global Citizen Festival, an international event held at Ghana’s Independence Square. Mnay NPP faithfuls accused the NDC of masterminding this act, but this is no longer funny as Ghanaians, in general, are not excited about the failed government of Akufo Addo which has refused to accept blame and continuously accuse external forces such as Covid, Russia-Ukraine war and demons for causing Ghana’s current hardship.
When the president was booed for the first time, it drew a lot of criticism, with some chastising the youth and labelling them impolite for engaging in such behaviour on an international platform.

A few days ago, while the president toured the Ashanti region to commission some projects, several market women and men also booed at him and his entourage as they drove through Adum.
The number of times Ghanaians have publicly shown their anger with the current administration in recent weeks now stands at three following the most recent booing episode in the Eastern region.
