Akufo-Addo Challenges Mahama ‘s Comeback: “He’s Deceiving Ghanaians”

In a recent address, President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo of Ghana criticized former President John Dramani Mahama ‘s bid for a comeback, asserting that it amounts to deceit and emphasizing that Mahama has not undergone any significant changes.

President Akufo-Addo urged Ghanaians to disregard Mahama’s presidential aspirations comeback, claiming that the former leader has nothing substantial to offer the nation. Speaking at the commissioning of a library in the Bantama constituency, Akufo-Addo argued that Mahama had already been given the opportunity to govern the country but failed to deliver, citing his perceived bad governance style.

Akufo-Addo emphasized that Ghanaians should only consider voting for candidates who have been “tested and proven.” He categorically rejected the notion that Mahama’s return to the presidency would bring about positive change, dismissing it as a mere deception.
